Atsu Gunther Design is a full-service design studio committed to helping clients articulate their unique vision with fresh ideas and professionalism. The studio's aesthetic combines new traditional modern with a sophisticated color palette that emphasizes the beauty of architectural surroundings to create classic yet distinctive spaces.
Originally from Japan, Atsu moved to the U.S. to pursue her college education in Interior Design. Upon graduation, she started her career in Boston at the office of the legendary interior designer, William Hodgins, where she worked closely with Mr. Hodgins and acclaimed NYC-based interior designer, Garrow Kedigian.
After sixteen years working for several well-known designers and architects in Boston and New York City, polishing her design skills in both high-end residential and hospitality design, Atsu opened her interior design studio in 2014.
Over the course of her career, Atsu has worked on high-end residential and hospitality projects all over the world, some of which have been featured in Architectural Digest, Interior Design Magazine, New England Home, and Design New England, among others.
